When Stephen moved to the city of Nashville in the June of 2000, he was immediately greeted by friends and relatives eager to make his transition to life in the big city as smooth as possible. But those visits did not stop after he was accustomed to the Nashville life. Lifelong friends, such as Phyllis and Phillip Robison, Polly Pierce-Robison, and Rebecca Haithcoat visited Stephen. College friends, like Matthew R. West, April Matthews, Annie Laurie Crane, and Kyle Huggins were also on hand. Even to this day, Stephen welcomes visitors in his home. He doesn't adhere to the philosophy that visitors stink after three days. His house is always open to those who will visit. |
