Although Stephen Phillips moved into the Barton 11 dorm at Union University in the winter of 1996, little is actually known about his life there until the fall of 1997. The only confirmed roommate of Stephen's of that time is lifelong friend, Phillip Robison. Stephen refuses to talk about his life in Barton 11 before Matt West and Matt Thomson joined him in September 1997. Stephen has often said that his time in Barton 11 is perhaps the best of his life. Even though he made deep friendships with his roommates, the visitors to the room also hold a special place in his heart. |
